Designcraft were pleased to be involved in the design, manufacture and installation of signage at Daikin Australia's Chipping Norton site.
Founded in 1969, Daikin air conditioners can be found in thousands of commerical developments; community projects and homes across Australia and New Zealand.
Designcraft worked closely with the builders; architects and Daikin Australia to develop the signage scope and meet the manufacture and installation timeframe of a 6 week turnaround.
The initial scope was for an illuminated pylon with intra-cut letters; a flex face lighbox and statutory signage. As the signage scope evolved, the initial idea for a flex face lightbox was replaced with non illuminated fabricated letters and then grew to include signage for Daikin's reception area.
Installation of the signage occured over several days as we had to liaise with the builders to get better access to the site to allow for the smooth and safe installation of the pylon sign. Installation of the building sign was coordinated around the landscaping of the front of the building in order to get our knuckle boom in place to mount the sign.
The team worked closely with the builders and their timeframes to get the project completed in time for the official opening where a senior company figure from Daikin's Japan office was visiting to view the newly branded premises.
